Shaivi Rau

Shaivi Rau is the Co-Founder and CEO of Litmus, a Y Combinator-backed platform (YC S26) revolutionizing technical hiring through AI-powered, async work trials that reveal how engineers actually build.
Shaivi studied Computer Science and Film at Columbia University, where she also competed on the varsity Women's Squash team and earned Dean's List honors.
Inspired by watching her brother, a Series A founder, spend weeks interviewing engineers and still walk away uncertain about who to hire, Shaivi set out to fix what is fundamentally broken in technical recruiting.
Prior to founding Litmus, Shaivi worked at Morgan Stanley, early-stage startups, and in venture capital at White Venture Capital, sitting alongside founders as they made critical engineering hiring decisions.
Litmus has already evaluated 3,000+ technical assessments and reached $60K ARR, building hiring pipelines for Neo Scholars and their portfolio while integrating with top ATS platforms like Ashby, Greenhouse, and Lever.
