Sharoz Javaid

Sharoz Javaid is Co-Founder of Motions, a pre-seed computer vision startup backed by Afore Capital, building a platform that lets anyone create camera-based games and interactive products in seconds.
Sharoz earned a B.S. in Cognitive Science with a specialization in Human Computer Interaction and Design from UC San Diego, and honed his skills as an Account Engineer at EyePop.ai, where he led AI vision workshops and worked on computer vision applications.
With a background spanning UX design, product management, and computer vision engineering, Sharoz brings a rare blend of human-centered design thinking and cutting-edge AI expertise to Motions.
Prior to Motions, Sharoz gained hands-on experience at EyePop.ai, doublespeed, The Room Social Network, and SEMI, building a strong foundation across AI, consumer apps, and developer tools.
Motions was accepted into Afore Capital's Founders in Residence program in San Francisco with a sub-1% acceptance rate, positioning the team at the forefront of the creator economy's shift toward camera-as-interface experiences.
