Dr. Shouvik Mukherjee is Co-Founder of QuBeats, an Indian quantum deeptech startup pioneering field-ready quantum sensing solutions for defence, aerospace, and critical infrastructure.

Shouvik earned his Ph.D. in Experimental Condensed Matter Physics from the University of Pittsburgh and is an alumnus of IIT Kharagpur, before serving as a Postdoctoral Scholar at the Joint Quantum Institute (NIST/UMD).

He is a published researcher with expertise in atomic vapor and solid-state quantum platforms, nonlinear optics, superfluidity, and Bose-Einstein condensation, with hands-on skills in nanofabrication and precision electronics.

Shouvik also delivered a talk at Qmet Tech, IIT Bombay on benchmarking field-ready advanced quantum sensors, reflecting his role as a leading voice in India's emerging quantum ecosystem.

QuBeats won the prestigious ADITI 2.0 Defence Challenge, securing a Rs. 25 crore (USD 3 million) government grant to build an indigenous Quantum Positioning System for the Indian Navy, targeting a USD 10 billion global market.
