Shreyaans Jain is Co-Founder and CEO of QOSMIC Satellite Systems, building the optical ground station infrastructure that replaces legacy RF downlinks for the next generation of satellite communications.

Shreyaans earned a BS in Engineering Physics from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign (2019-2023), where he conducted quantum research at the Pfaff Lab and co-chaired the QUIUC Undergraduate Quantum Computing Organization.

He brings deep expertise in quantum photonics, free-space optical communications, and satellite systems, with prior research stints at IISc Bangalore and the Chicago Quantum Exchange.

QOSMIC was selected for the inaugural Accel and Prosus Atoms X cohort and raised $3.3M in seed funding from Prosus, Accel, and South Park Commons, with the company incubated at ARTPARK, IISc Bangalore.

QOSMIC has validated a 5+ km optical link at TRL 6 and built India's only full-stack optical communications platform, delivering 100x the speed of RF at $1/GB for satellite-to-ground data transfer.
