Shy Dekel

Shy Dekel is Co-Founder and CEO of Cymphony, a pioneering AI agent security company redefining how enterprises govern their growing non-human workforce.
Dekel spent nearly six years in Israel's elite Unit 8200, rising to Head of the Cyber Department, and is a graduate of Talpiot, the Israeli military's highly selective technology and leadership program.
Dekel champions the idea that AI agents must be treated as active workforce participants, not just applications, requiring an entirely new security model beyond traditional human-centric frameworks.
Alongside co-founders Idan Berkovits and Edi Gotlieb, Dekel built Cymphony's workforce security graph from the ground up, attracting Sequoia Capital as a backer even before the company had a defined product direction.
Within its first year of sales, Cymphony reached seven-figure ARR, secured enterprise customers including KKR, Syngenta, and Cass Information Systems, and raised $30M at a valuation exceeding $100M.
