Sina Afra

Sina Afra is a Co-Founder of Promake, a groundbreaking AI platform that enables small and medium-sized businesses to build and manage their entire digital operations through a single chat interface. He is a serial entrepreneur and early-stage investor with over two decades of experience building, scaling, and exiting technology-driven companies across Europe and beyond.
Afra holds a degree from the University of Munster and is an alumnus of Harvard Business School, and began his career spending 12 years at KPMG in Europe before joining eBay as an executive board member of European Corporate Development, where he led key M&A activity including the acquisition of Gittigidiyor in Turkey.
Afra speaks five languages and is actively engaged in the European and Turkish technology and venture ecosystems, serving on the Global Advisory Board at MoreThan Capital and as an Investment Committee Member at Founder One.
He is best known as the founder of Markafoni, Turkey's first leading online fashion site, which was acquired by Naspers Group in 2011 in one of the landmark transactions of the Turkish internet sector. He has since founded more than 20 companies, completed 12 exits, and angel-invested in over 60 early-stage startups across Europe, Africa, and the United States.
Promake raised $4 million in seed funding just four months after its global launch, targeting over 500 million SMBs worldwide. Markafoni, Afra's most celebrated venture, expanded to Australia, Ukraine, Greece, and Poland and won multiple awards including Best Web Start-up 2011 and was ranked in the Wired UK 100 Hottest Companies in Europe.
