Dr. Sohaib Khan is the Co-Founder and CEO of Hazen.ai, an award-winning AI company pioneering computer vision and deep learning solutions for traffic safety and road fatality reduction.

A distinguished professor turned entrepreneur, Dr. Khan earned his PhD in Computer Science with a specialization in computer vision from the University of Central Florida in 2002, and spent nearly two decades leading research labs at top universities in Pakistan and Saudi Arabia.

Dr. Khan previously served as Chair of the Computer Science Department at LUMS in Lahore, where he co-founded the LUMS Center for Entrepreneurship, and as Research Director at the GIS Technology Innovation Center at Umm Al-Qura University in Makkah.

He co-founded Hazen.ai in 2017 alongside former students and Saudi partners, backed by investors including Wa'ed Ventures (the entrepreneurship arm of Saudi Aramco), Wadi Makkah Venture, and AI Venture Labs.

Hazen.ai's technology is deployed globally across the UK, US, Oman, Egypt, Spain, and Peru, transforming standard traffic cameras into intelligent AI systems capable of detecting violations and preventing road accidents in real time.
