Soheil Feizi

Soheil Feizi is the Founder and CEO of RELAI, a Washington DC-based AI startup on a mission to make reliable and trustworthy AI accessible and achievable for everyone.
Dr. Feizi earned his Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science from MIT in 2016, completed postdoctoral research at Stanford University, and went on to serve as an Associate Professor of Computer Science at the University of Maryland.
Dr. Feizi is a recipient of the 2025 Presidential Early Career Award for Scientists and Engineers (PECASE), the highest honor the U.S. government bestows on early-career researchers, and has published over 100 peer-reviewed papers.
Prior to founding RELAI, Dr. Feizi led the Reliable AI Lab at the University of Maryland, received the NSF CAREER Award, ONR Young Investigator Award, and ARO Early Career Program Award, and testified before the U.S. House Bipartisan Task Force on AI.
RELAI's platform helps teams simulate, evaluate, and optimize AI agents for production reliability; Dr. Feizi's work has been featured in The Washington Post, Wired, MIT Technology Review, and Bloomberg.
