Stéphan Tulkens is Co-Founder of Semble, a professional community and talent marketplace built for game developers, often described as the LinkedIn for the game industry.

Stéphan holds a PhD in computational psycholinguistics from the University of Antwerp, where he researched orthographic processing and lexical access, and previously worked as a machine learning engineer at Slimmer AI and as a Data Scientist at Dataprovider.com.

With deep expertise in NLP, static embeddings, and information retrieval, Stéphan brings a rare combination of academic research rigor and applied AI engineering to product development.

Prior to Semble, Stéphan co-founded Minish and currently serves as Principal ML Engineer at Ecosia, reflecting a career spanning research, startup founding, and industry engineering roles.

Semble grew to over 1,337 users in the Nordic game dev community and launched Matchmaking, an anonymous job-matching product connecting game talent with studios across the region.
