Stanislaw Piasecki

Stanislaw Piasecki is Co-Founder and CTO at Grip Robotics (YC S26), a physical AI company building intelligent robotic systems that sort waste in messy, unstructured environments, starting with removing plastic contamination from organic waste streams.
Stan holds an MS in Computational Science and Engineering from ETH Zurich, one of the world's leading technical universities, and has deep expertise in autonomous systems, control circuits, and multi-sensor perception.
Stan co-founded Grip after witnessing firsthand how plastic contamination in organic waste is spreading into agricultural soil and food systems, driving him to tackle one of the most overlooked challenges in the circular economy.
Prior to Grip, Stan was a founding engineer at URSA Mining, where he built autonomous excavators using RL simulators and custom control circuits, and also built autonomous interceptor drones at CDDS, autonomous race cars at AMZ, and quadruped robots at ANYbotics.
Grip, backed by Y Combinator's S26 batch, is building the intelligent manipulation layer for waste infrastructure, helping operators cut manual sorting costs and lower contamination across composting and biogas facilities globally.
