Steijn Pelle is Co-Founder and CEO of Lassie, an AI-powered autonomous system that runs the back-office operations of small healthcare practices, starting with dental offices across the US.

Originally from the Netherlands, Steijn studied at RSM Erasmus University and built his career in Silicon Valley as an early product leader at Robinhood, Coinbase, and HealthTap, accumulating over 15 years of startup experience.

Steijn discovered Lassie's founding opportunity firsthand when his own dentist revealed he spent 80-100 hours monthly reconciling insurance payments by hand, prompting Steijn and co-founder Frederic Renken to embed themselves in the practice before writing a single line of code.

Prior to Lassie, Steijn also co-founded FITMO (a fitness coaching platform) and Pelliano, demonstrating a track record of entrepreneurship across multiple industries including fashion, fitness, and healthcare technology.

Lassie has raised $47M in total funding led by a16z and now serves 700+ practices across 49 states, delivering over 250,000 hours of labor annually and generating more than $10M in annualized revenue.
