Stephen DiAdamo

Stephen DiAdamo is Co-Founder and CTO at Qoro Quantum, a deep-tech startup building the orchestration and network software stack for distributed quantum computing, enabling hybrid quantum-classical systems to operate as a unified environment.
Stephen earned his doctorate in electrical engineering from TU Munich with a focus on quantum networks and simulation, then went on to serve as a Research Scientist at Cisco Quantum Lab, where he met co-founder Dan Holme.
Stephen is a published researcher with over 44 academic publications spanning quantum networking, distributed quantum algorithms, and quantum simulation, and co-created QuNetSim, a widely used Python framework for simulating quantum networks.
Prior to founding Qoro Quantum in 2024, Stephen collaborated with Deakin University and Cisco Quantum Labs on a CSIRO-funded $332K distributed quantum computing research project, and co-hosted The Quantum Divide podcast with Dan Holme.
Qoro Quantum has secured $750K in pre-seed funding led by Ada Ventures, joined programs including IBM Quantum Startup Network and NVIDIA Inception, and completed a landmark pilot with CESGA running 6,000 parallelized quantum circuits across 10 HPC nodes in under 1 second.
