Steven Plappert is Co-Founder and CEO of Forecastr, a B2B SaaS platform empowering startup founders with financial modeling, revenue forecasting, and fractional CFO services.

Steven earned a Bachelor of Arts in Mathematical Economics from the University of Kentucky, then spent years as a fractional Head of Finance for early-stage startups before co-founding Forecastr with Logan Burchett after meeting at Venture First.

A 2x Techstars alum and 2x founder, Steven champions financial literacy for founders, coining the concept of 'Model-Market Fit' to help startups build living, investor-ready financial models from day one.

Prior to Forecastr, Steven founded FantasyHub (Techstars Austin 2013), growing it to 10+ employees, and later served as Head of Finance at Brain.fm and as an Associate at boutique financial services firm Venture First.

Forecastr has raised over $12.2M across 4 funding rounds from investors including Techstars, Resolute Ventures, and Uncorrelated Ventures, reaching $2.7M in revenue and 550+ customers by 2024.
