Sujata Pawar is Co-Founder and CEO of Avni Wellness, a Mumbai-based femtech brand building an integrated women's health ecosystem spanning menstrual hygiene, cycle nutrition, and hormonal care from adolescence to menopause.

Sujata holds a BPharma from Dr LH Hiranandani College of Pharmacy (Mumbai University) and an MBA from NMIMS Mumbai, and spent 7 to 8 years in healthcare working with global pharma companies including Merck Serono, Sanofi, and MSD India.

Driven by her own painful experience with chemical-laden commercial sanitary pads, Sujata identified a critical gap in India's women's health market where product innovation had been consistently deprioritised.

She co-founded Avni in 2021 with husband Apurv Agrawal, launching India's first tested antimicrobial reusable cloth pad and building a product portfolio that applies pharmaceutical-grade rigour to everyday women's health products.

Avni Wellness has raised seed funding backed by Dr. A. Velumani (founder of Thyrocare) and Proteus Partners, served over 55,000 Indian menstruators, and is scaling a women-led micro-entrepreneur network targeting 10,000 entrepreneurs across India.
