Surbhi Sarna

Surbhi Sarna is the CEO and Founder of Collate, an AI-native enterprise platform automating regulatory documentation for the life sciences industry, and a two-time founder with a proven track record of building and exiting transformative healthcare companies.
Surbhi studied molecular biology at UC Berkeley, then founded nVision Medical after a personal experience with ovarian cysts inspired her to develop the first FDA-cleared device for early ovarian cancer detection.
After nVision's $275M acquisition by Boston Scientific, Surbhi served as General Partner at Y Combinator leading their healthcare practice for 4.5 years, and authored the book Without a Doubt: How to Go from Underrated to Unbeatable, published by Simon and Schuster.
At Collate, Surbhi identified that life sciences companies are paralyzed by tens of thousands of pages of regulatory documentation, and built an AI platform that can reduce documentation time by 50 to 90%, with some filings cut from seven months to under one month.
Collate raised a $30M seed round in January 2025 and followed with a $95M Series A in June 2026 led by Redpoint Ventures, bringing total capital raised to $125M and pushing the company's valuation to nearly $1 billion in under 18 months.
