Suryaa Rajinikanth

Suryaa Rajinikanth is Co-Founder of Cumulus Labs, a Y Combinator W26 backed GPU cloud platform that delivers 50 to 70% cost savings for AI training and inference workloads.
Suryaa studied Computer Science at Georgia Tech while serving as Lead Engineer at TensorDock, building the first distributed GPU marketplace serving thousands of consumers and businesses. He later built critical infrastructure for the US Government at Palantir and deployed AI systems at Blackstone.
Suryaa has deep expertise in distributed systems and resource optimization, having worked on GPU compute solutions from both the provider and customer perspectives. He and co-founder Veer Shah have been building together since third grade.
Cumulus Labs aggregates idle GPU capacity from public clouds, data centers, and individual hosts into a unified pool with intelligent workload orchestration. The platform predictively packs workloads, live-migrates jobs to optimal clusters, and captures execution state for ultra-fast cold starts.
The company enables AI teams to charge by physical resource use rather than full GPU allocation, eliminating infrastructure management overhead. Cumulus serves customers training and deploying LLMs, vision models, and LoRAs with faster cold starts and zero time debugging infrastructure.
