Téo Doremus

Téo Doremus is the Co-Founder and CEO of Advocacy (Advocacy AI, Inc.), an AI-native, context-first litigation workspace purpose-built for high-stakes legal teams.
Téo earned his U.S. law degree from UC Berkeley School of Law with honors and his French law degree from Paris-Saclay University, and previously worked as a securities litigator at Robbins Geller Rudman and Dowd, one of the nation's premier plaintiff-side litigation firms.
Drawing on firsthand experience litigating complex securities, corporate takeover, and breach of fiduciary duty cases, Téo identified a critical gap: litigation outcomes were being dictated by bandwidth, not talent. He also brings international legal experience, having worked in Shanghai on cross-border M&A, international litigation, and arbitration for multinational corporations and financial institutions.
Téo co-founded Advocacy alongside engineers from Meta, Dropbox, and PayPal to build the industry's first context-driven case memory platform, and recently led the company's $3.5M seed round backed by Relentless, Relativity Labs, and Am Law 100 firm Fenwick and West.
Advocacy has emerged from stealth with paying clients and active pilots at top-tier Am Law 100 and 200 firms, was named a finalist for the Legalweek Leaders in Tech Law Awards in the Litigation Technology category, and is expanding its platform to serve the rapidly growing demand for governed, context-first AI in complex litigation.
