Tal Baron is Co-Founder and CEO of Arrakis Security, an Israeli cybersecurity startup pioneering a new security category focused on governing and monitoring autonomous enterprise AI agents.

Tal honed his expertise at industry-leading companies Torq and Palantir, where he and his co-founders identified a critical blind spot: enterprises deploying AI agents had no visibility into what those agents were actually doing.

Tal argues that traditional security tools built for human users cannot protect autonomous AI systems, coining the concept of the Visibility Illusion to describe the gap enterprises face with agentic AI.

At Arrakis Security, Tal led the company from stealth to a successful $8M Seed round led by Hetz Ventures, with backing from CEOs of ElevenLabs, Torq, and Pentera, as well as senior Palantir executives.

Arrakis Security has grown to approximately 20 employees and established Arrakis Labs, a dedicated research team of former Microsoft security researchers, to advance AI agent security capabilities.
