Tarek co-founded blnk in 2021 alongside Amr Sultan, helping the company raise over $69 million in combined equity and debt funding, including a $12.5M Series A led by Algebra Ventures.

Under Tarek's risk leadership, blnk has onboarded over one million customers, with 75% previously unbanked, achieved profitability in 2025, and delivered 173% year-on-year revenue growth.
