Dr. Tausif Shaikh is the Co-Founder and CTO of InspeCity Space Laboratories, an Indian deep-tech startup pioneering in-orbit satellite servicing, life-extension, and space debris removal technologies.

Tausif holds a PhD in Mechanical Engineering from IIT Bombay (2013-2019), where he developed expertise as a propulsion systems specialist, and also served on the faculty at A.P. Shah Institute of Technology, Thane.

As the technical visionary behind InspeCity, Tausif leads the development of three core technologies: an in-space propulsion system, a vision-assisted robotic arm, and an advanced sensor suite to enable autonomous satellite servicing.

InspeCity has raised $17.7M across 6 funding rounds from investors including Speciale Invest, Antler India, Ashish Kacholia, Shastra VC, and Anicut Capital, and signed the 250th contract under India's iDEX defence innovation programme.

InspeCity has grown to 47 employees, developed a micro-gravity test bed and a vision-assisted robotic arm built from first principles, and is on track to space-qualify its satellite life-extension platform for global markets.
