Ted Robertson

Ted Robertson is Co-Founder and COO at Knit Health, a UC Berkeley-born AI company building Large Clinical Behavior Models trained on real clinician decision-making across major U.S. health systems.
Ted holds a Master in Public Administration from Harvard Kennedy School and has spent over 15 years at the intersection of behavioral science, data science, and healthcare AI.
Ted co-founded the Coalition for Health AI (CHAI), a national industry standards organization for responsible AI in healthcare, and serves as Executive Director of the Center for Healthcare Marketplace Innovation at UC Berkeley.
Prior to Knit Health, Ted was Managing Director at ideas42, the firm that launched the first White House behavioral design team, where he led machine learning and behavioral science initiatives with major health insurers, providers, and government agencies.
Knit Health's LCBM is trained on EMR data from over 130 million patients across 30 U.S. health systems, with the company launching out of stealth in 2025 backed by $11.6M in seed funding from Uncork Capital and Frist Cressey Ventures.
