Teddy Solomon

Teddy Solomon is Co-Founder and CEO at Fizz, an anonymous campus social platform transforming how Gen Z connects across 350+ college campuses. Born and raised in San Francisco, he arrived at Stanford in 2020 during the pandemic, where he saw firsthand the isolation students faced.
Teddy attended Stanford University where he co-founded Fizz with Ashton Cofer in November 2020 during their freshman year. He dropped out of Stanford in December 2021 to pursue Fizz full-time after receiving $750,000 in seed funding from veteran entrepreneur Rakesh Mathur.
Teddy has a background in competitive sports, particularly table tennis, which taught him the grit and perseverance he applies to building Fizz. He personally visited over 220 campuses to embed himself in student life and gather feedback, once sneaking 1,000 donuts onto Pepperdine's campus for launch.
Fizz has raised over $41 million across multiple rounds from investors including NEA, Owl Ventures, and Lightspeed Venture Partners. The platform has over 20 million posts and operates with zero paid marketing, growing entirely through word of mouth.
Teddy became CEO in October 2024 at age 22, taking over from Rakesh Mathur. Fizz is used by 95% of Stanford undergraduates and has been named to Forbes 30 Under 30 in Social Media, with the platform expanding beyond colleges to become the Gen Z social network.
