Thomas Längle is Co-Founder and CEO of AVIAN, a Zurich-based industrial AI company delivering 24/7 thermal monitoring to prevent fires and equipment failures at the world's most high-risk industrial facilities.

Thomas studied Electrical Engineering at TU Wien (Vienna University of Technology) and holds a Master of Science in International Sports Technology from RMIT University, bringing a rare blend of engineering rigor and applied research to industrial AI.

Thomas co-founded AVIAN after conducting research at a top-tier robotics lab, where a sawmill owner struggling with fire risk and rising insurance costs approached the team for a solution, validating a real and urgent market need.

Prior to AVIAN, Thomas gained experience at the University of Zurich, FITZ and ROY GmbH, and founded Apex Visionaries GmbH, a Zurich-based consulting and coaching venture, demonstrating serial entrepreneurial drive.

AVIAN bootstrapped profitably for two years before raising a $2.6M pre-seed round led by Founderful, is deployed across approximately 50 sites in 9 countries, has saved over $50 million by preventing fires and failures, and is on track to surpass $1M in ARR in 2026.
