Thomas Wolf

Thomas Wolf is Co-Founder and Chief Science Officer at Hugging Face, the leading open-source AI platform with over 10 million users and 1 million model repositories. He created the widely-used Transformers and Datasets libraries that democratize access to machine learning models.
Thomas studied physics at Ecole Polytechnique and earned a PhD from Sorbonne University, then worked as a patent attorney for 5 years before co-founding Hugging Face in 2016. He previously conducted research at Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory and was accepted to MIT for doctoral studies.
