Tim Thacker

Tim Thacker is Co-Founder and CTO at Nullify, the first AI workforce for product security that autonomously detects, triages, and fixes vulnerabilities. He leads engineering and technical architecture for the company's AI agents that have saved over 48,000 hours of manual security work across dozens of customers.
Tim studied computer science and software engineering at UNSW Australia, where he met his co-founders and worked on cloud cybersecurity. He previously worked as a Security Engineer and Software Engineer at SPG Controls, and was Data Acquisition Lead at UNSW Formula SAE Motorsport Team.
Tim co-founded Nullify in 2022 with Shantanu Kulkarni and Tony Mao after witnessing firsthand the challenges of building secure software at scale. He has spoken at ServerlessDays ANZ 2024 on building AI agents for application security.
Nullify raised $12.5 million in seed funding in February 2026, bringing total capital to $16.9 million from SYN Ventures, Two Sigma Ventures, Root Ventures, and Black Nova Venture Capital. The company serves mid-market enterprises and high-growth SaaS companies globally.
Under Tim's technical leadership, Nullify's AI employees have auto-resolved over 450 vulnerabilities and achieved a nearly 90 percent average merge-ready rate for vulnerability fix pull requests. The platform is based in San Francisco with offices in Sydney.
