Timo Teimonen is Co-Founder and CEO of AQ Biotech, a Finnish biotech company pioneering non-invasive, antibody-free diagnostics using phage-biosensor technology to enable early detection of cancers, infectious diseases, and neurodegenerative disorders.

Timo holds a BSc from the University of Vaasa and built his career in high-level roles at global tech leaders Nokia and IBM, before co-founding ventures including FinestLove Ltd and partnering at Newentures Ltd.

As the business and strategy lead, Timo drives AQ Biotech's global commercialization with a focus on making diagnostics more affordable and accessible for both patients and hospitals.

Under his leadership, AQ Biotech secured Business Finland funding, established a global operations hub in Hong Kong, and signed two landmark joint ventures in mainland China with world-class clinical hospitals in Nanjing and Chengdu.

AQ Biotech is now preparing to launch a Series A round to accelerate global growth, with its oncology and neurology platforms targeting patient populations in the hundreds of millions across China and beyond.
