Timothy Toohill is Co-Founder and CTO at Certus Core, a veteran-owned AI data intelligence company based in Tampa, Florida, building platforms that transform complex, fragmented data into verified, actionable insights for defense and enterprise clients.

Timothy served in the U.S. Air Force as a Theater Deployable Communications Engineer, later earning a Bachelor's and Master's degree in Computer Science from the University of Maryland.

With over 20 years of software engineering experience, Timothy brings deep expertise in data science, data engineering, and AI-driven systems for both government and commercial sectors.

Prior to co-founding Certus Core, Timothy held senior roles at Deloitte as Senior Manager and Senior Data Scientist, and contributed to defense programs at Altamira Technologies, Polaris Alpha, and L-3 Communications.

Certus Core has raised $1.62M in Seed funding from investors including TampaBay Ventures and Capital Q Ventures, and supports operational missions with the U.S. Navy, Air Force, USSOCOM, and NASA.
