Tine Kühnel is Co-Founder and CPO at Complir, a Copenhagen-based AI platform that automates product compliance for global retailers, helping them launch physical products across markets without regulatory bottlenecks.

Tine holds a Master's degree in Design and Innovation from the Technical University of Denmark (DTU), with her thesis completed at DTU Compute (Applied Mathematics and Computer Science), and brings a foundational background in physical product design.

With over 10 years of experience designing data-driven B2B platforms, Tine has built tools ranging from AI-powered tourism movement predictors and trend-tracking systems to a blockchain-based contract platform for a global legaltech startup.

Tine co-founded Complir in 2024 alongside Gustav Bang and Marc Kaa Brejner, and within just one month of the founding duo meeting, secured a landmark partnership with Flying Tiger Copenhagen, a 1,000+ store global retail chain, embedding themselves in the client's compliance workflows for over a year.

Complir has raised EUR 1.7M in pre-seed funding, achieved 45% month-over-month growth, and was accepted into Y Combinator's Spring 2026 batch, with the platform already serving leading Scandinavian retailers across toys, textiles, cosmetics, electronics, and home goods.
