Tom Reno is Co-Founder and CEO of Agave, a Y Combinator-backed AI financial operations platform purpose-built for the construction industry, serving 500+ contractors across the US and Canada.

Tom graduated magna cum laude in Economics and Philosophy from Columbia University, then launched his career as an analyst at Barclays Investment Bank before moving into product roles at Graphiq and Amazon Alexa.

At Amazon, Tom led three engineering teams in Alexa AI Knowledge and co-developed Alexa's Knowledge Skills product from pitch to public launch, giving him deep expertise in data infrastructure and integration.

Prior to Agave, Tom spent nearly a decade across Barclays, Graphiq (acquired by Amazon in 2017), and Amazon, where his team's work on a skunkworks project for Procore first exposed him to the fragmented data landscape in construction.

Under Tom's leadership, Agave has raised a $15M Series A led by Accel, tripled revenue year-over-year, reached profitability for over two years, and now powers more than 80,000 construction projects representing over $100 billion in project value.
