Tom Snipes is a Co-Founder and Board Member at Lilac Agriculture, a next-generation agricultural biologicals company pioneering advanced rhizobial inoculants for pulse crops.

Tom is a University of South Carolina graduate with over 25 years of agtech experience, having held senior roles at Koch Agronomic Services, United Agri Products, Pinnacle Agricultural Holdings, and Diamond R Retail.

Tom brings deep expertise across the full agricultural value chain, spanning crop protection, specialty nutrients, manufacturing, retail distribution, and business development.

He previously served as CEO of Plant Response Biotech, where he led a landmark merger with Koch Biological Solutions, and later as CEO of both Custom Agronomics and Ostara, driving commercialization and growth across the biologicals sector.

Lilac Agriculture closed an oversubscribed $2.3 million seed round backed by Innova, Ag Ventures Alliance, Evergreen Climate Innovations, and others, with its next-gen inoculant already outperforming leading commercial products in multi-site field trials across the Northern Plains.
