Tommaso Demarie is the Co-Founder and CEO of Entropica Labs, a Singapore-based quantum computing software company building development tools for fault-tolerant quantum error correction and practical quantum computing.

Tommaso holds an undergraduate degree and Masters in Physics from the University of Torino, and a PhD in quantum information theory from Macquarie University in Sydney, before relocating to Singapore to pursue postdoctoral research.

With over 12 years of experience in quantum information and computation, Tommaso has pioneered research in quantum-based protocols, verification of quantum computation, and novel cryptographic schemes, and has directly programmed on quantum computers.

Before co-founding Entropica Labs in 2018, Tommaso served as a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at Singapore's Centre for Quantum Technologies and the Singapore University of Technology and Design, where he identified a critical gap in the quantum software stack.

Entropica Labs has raised over $8M across Seed and Series A rounds from investors including State Farm Ventures, Wavemaker Partners, and LIFTT, and collaborates with leading quantum hardware firms such as IBM, Rigetti, and Microsoft.
