Tony Yamin is Co-Founder and CTO at Conviction (YC S25), a clinical AI governance platform helping hospitals safely evaluate, deploy, and monitor AI tools at scale.

Tony studied Computer Science at Columbia University and turned down offers from Google and BlackRock to pursue entrepreneurship, previously building machine-learning infrastructure for the U.S. Department of Defense at Booz Allen Hamilton.

Tony won Best AI at HackPrinceton and was a Finalist at YaleHack, and co-directed Columbia CORE's Demo Day attracting 150+ attendees including investors and industry professionals.

At Booz Allen Hamilton, Tony developed ML models using Random Forests, KNN, and Neural Networks to classify vehicle power system states for the DOD, and also built full-stack features and ETL pipelines at Columbia Build Lab.

Conviction is already deployed at Columbia University Irving Medical Center to track live AI models in production, and has raised $2.3M in early funding backed by Y Combinator, TitletownTech, and Pioneer Fund.
