Trevor O'Leary is Co-Founder of Uplift Microhome Corp., a Boston-based company building reusable, off-grid modular housing units for rapid disaster response and emergency deployment.
Trevor rose to Senior Software Engineer at Tesla, where he engineered calibration systems for the Optimus robot, and previously contributed to electric vehicle design competitions with McGill Formula Electric.
Trevor is currently completing his MBA at Harvard Business School, bringing a rare combination of deep hardware engineering expertise and business acumen to the housing crisis challenge.
Alongside co-founder Charlie Nitschelm, Trevor built the first Uplift Microhome prototype in just 50 days for approximately $21,000, a fully livable, off-grid unit deployable via forklift in minutes.
Uplift Microhome won the prestigious MIT $100K Entrepreneurship Competition in May 2026 and is procurement-ready for federal deployment, targeting millions of Americans displaced by natural disasters each year.
