Trey Taparauskas is President and CEO at Champion Site Prep, a leading commercial earthwork and excavation contractor specializing in sitework, civil site development, and heavy equipment operations across Central Texas.

Trey holds a Civil Engineering degree from The University of Texas at Austin (1989-1993) and joined Champion Site Prep in 2003 with the mandate to drive the company's growth and expansion.

Under Trey's leadership, Champion completed an ESOP buyout in 2014, transforming the company into an employee-owned business that has grown stock value by 500% since the transition. He led Champion to complete over 2,500 projects including major work for H-E-B's $90 million Temple processing center.

Since 2003, Trey has grown Champion from 100 employees to over 200, more than doubling headcount and tripling annual revenue while maintaining a focus on employee ownership culture and premier service.

Champion Site Prep operates as one of the top-tier earthwork contractors in Central Texas, maintaining a large fleet of late-model Caterpillar and John Deere heavy equipment with GPS-controlled technology for commercial, industrial, and municipal projects.
