Tyler Strand is Co-Founder, CTO, and COO at Air, a creative operations platform that automates visual asset management for marketing and creative teams. He has a background in computer science from Stanford University and has a passion for technology and music.

Tyler founded his first startup while at Stanford, sold it to SFX Entertainment, and most recently was a founding Partner & Director of Product at Postlight. He led product teams for clients including Goldman Sachs, Time Inc, Barnes & Noble Education, and Bloomberg.

Tyler previously co-founded hostess.fm, which was acquired by Beatport. His passion for technology and music inspired him to start his first company at a young age.

Air has raised a total of 76.8M over 7 funding rounds, with the largest being a Series B round for 35M in Jan 2025. The platform serves over 100,000 creatives and 2,100 businesses.

Air was growing triple digits and was days away from profitability, with growth rate tripling over the last two years. Tyler's aspiration is for Air to become the GitHub of the creative world.
