Utkarsh Singh is the Co-Founder and CEO of BatX Energies, India's pioneering lithium-ion battery recycling and critical minerals recovery company, driving the country's circular battery supply chain from Gurugram.

Utkarsh studied at BML Munjal University and built a diverse career spanning CSR leadership at Hero Future Energies and the Raman Kant Munjal Foundation, business development at CNS Comnet, and founding Paperplanes Marketing Solutions in 2019.

A Forbes 30 Under 30 Asia 2023 honoree, Utkarsh has championed BatX's patented Zero Waste-Zero Emission recycling technology and holds a portfolio of 40+ filed patents in battery recycling processes.

Under his leadership, BatX raised Rs 105 crore in a Series A round led by IvyCap Ventures, with backing from Zephyr Peacock, Mankind Pharma Family Office, and Excel Industries, bringing total funding to $18.6M.

BatX operates micro facilities across India with a combined shredding capacity of over 20,000 MTA, recovering critical minerals like lithium, cobalt, and nickel at 99.5% purity to reduce India's dependence on imported raw materials.
