Valentino Tereshko is Co-Founder and Vice President of Product Management at MotherDuck, a serverless analytics platform built on DuckDB. He leads product strategy for the company's innovative hybrid execution engine that combines local and cloud analytics.

Valentino spent 7.5 years at Google, where he was Product Manager for YouTube Infrastructure and Developer Experience, and Tech Director of the Google Cloud Office of the CTO, working extensively on BigQuery. He also served as VP of Product at Firebolt, a cloud data warehouse startup.

Valentino holds a Bachelor of Applied Science in Economics and Applied Mathematics from UC Davis. He has deep expertise in big data, cloud computing, and analytics platforms for enterprise customers.

MotherDuck raised $100M total funding including a $52.5M Series B at $400M valuation led by Felicis, with participation from a16z, Madrona, Amplify Partners, and Redpoint. The company launched general availability in June 2024 and serves over 2,000 analysts.

Under Valentino's product leadership, MotherDuck has built a modern data stack with 16+ integrations, introduced AI-powered features like FixIt for SQL error correction, and published research papers on hybrid query execution. The platform enables faster, cheaper analytics than traditional distributed architectures for the 95% of companies without petabyte-scale data.
