Vatan Aksoy Tezer

Vatan Aksoy Tezer is Co-Founder of Neuromorphic (YC S26), an AI robotics startup building embodiment-agnostic robot brains that make industrial robots fast to deploy and easy to manage via natural interfaces like Slack and email.
Vatan holds an MS in Computer Science from Sabanci University and a BS in Astronautical Engineering from Istanbul Technical University, with research experience at Nanyang Technological University and Bilkent University.
Vatan has published research at top AI and robotics conferences and won prestigious hackathons including HackMIT, Stanford XR, and MIT Reality Hack, reflecting his deep technical expertise in robotics and AI.
He previously served as Lead Robotics Engineer at Augmentus, built navigation stacks at KABAM Robotics (100+ robots deployed), scaled ASRS systems at Rapyuta Robotics (1,000+ robots), and served as a core maintainer of MoveIt at PickNik Robotics.
Neuromorphic was accepted into Y Combinator's S26 batch and secured $500K in funding, signing its first commercial contract within five days of the pivot, with a vision to make industrial robot deployment as simple as setting up a robot vacuum at home.
