Vedant Singh

Vedant Singh is Co-Founder and CTO at Salus (YC W26), an AI safety infrastructure company building runtime guardrails that validate and block incorrect AI agent actions before they execute.
Vedant studied Math and Computer Science at Stanford University, where he was also admitted into Stanford's coterminal MS CS program on the AI track, and previously interned at NVIDIA as an AI for Chip Design researcher.
Vedant was recognized as a Tau Beta Pi Engineering Honor Society candidate, awarded to the top 1/8 of juniors at Stanford's School of Engineering by GPA, reflecting his deep technical rigor.
Vedant and co-founder Kevin Pan, former Stanford roommates, built Salus to solve a critical gap in the AI agent ecosystem: while evals and observability are reactive, Salus intercepts and corrects agent actions in real time.
In benchmarks, Salus reduced agent misalignment by 52% across 12 frontier models and helped agents follow policies at up to 60% lower cost, with 58% of blocked actions self-recovering and completing tasks correctly.
