Veer Shah

Veer Shah is Co-Founder at Cumulus Labs (YC W26), a performance-optimized GPU cloud platform that saves customers 50-70% on AI training and inference costs. The platform aggregates idle GPU capacity from public clouds, private data centers, and vetted hosts into a unified compute pool.
Veer studied Computer Science at the University of Wisconsin, Madison, graduating in December 2025. During college, he worked at an aerospace startup where he led a Space Force SBIR contract for military satellite communications and contributed to several NASA SBIR programs, two of which were commercialized and are currently being flight tested in space.
Veer experienced GPU infrastructure challenges firsthand while running mission-critical ML workloads in aerospace applications. Before college, he captained his FRC Team 5422: Stormgears, qualifying for Worlds all four years.
Cumulus Labs was founded in 2025 with co-founder Suryaa Rajinikanth, who previously worked as Lead Engineer at TensorDock and held roles at Blackstone and Palantir. The platform enables fractional GPU sharing and charges customers only by physical resource use.
Cumulus Labs delivers 50-70% cost savings through optimized GPU utilization, provides ultra-fast cold starts for inference workloads, and eliminates infrastructure debugging time. The company was accepted into Y Combinator's Winter 2026 batch.
