Veikko Pere is Co-Founder at Last Accounting Company (LAC), a Y Combinator S26-backed, agent-native accounting firm replacing both outsourced accountants and legacy software for startups and SMBs.

Veikko holds an M.Sc. in Finance from Aalto University School of Business, where he graduated in the top 3% of his class, and is pursuing an M.Sc. in Laws.

His rare combination of strategy consulting, private equity, investment banking, and legal expertise gives him a uniquely multidisciplinary lens on building financial infrastructure for businesses.

Prior to LAC, Veikko worked at Boston Consulting Group (BCG) and in private equity at Intera Partners, complemented by investment banking and law internships.

LAC is part of the prestigious YC S26 batch and is building a fully proprietary AI accounting platform, from the general ledger to the accounting agents, targeting the global SMB market.
