Veiko-Vello Palm

Veiko-Vello Palm is COO and Board Member at Frankenburg Technologies, a European defence technology company developing affordable, scalable missile systems for air defence. He is a retired Estonian Major General who joined Frankenburg in 2024 after retiring from the Estonian Defence Forces.
Palm served 32 years in the Estonian Defence Forces, including as Deputy Chief of Defence (2021-2023) and first Commander of the Estonian Division (2023-2024). He graduated from the Finnish National Defence University and served two tours in Afghanistan with ISAF.
Palm led the integration of NATO's Enhanced Forward Presence battalion into Estonia's 1st Infantry Brigade and was instrumental in establishing Estonia's divisional structure. He speaks Estonian, English, Russian, and Finnish.
Frankenburg raised 30M EUR in Series A funding in February 2026, bringing total funding to 40M EUR. The company was selected to build missile production facilities in Estonia's Defence Industry Park and has contracts with Latvia and testing agreements in Ukraine.
Frankenburg aims to produce missiles 10 times cheaper and 100 times faster than current industry standards. The company operates across eight countries including Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, Germany, UK, Denmark, Poland, and Ukraine, with production capacity targets of 100 missiles per day per site.
