Venky Ganti is Co-Founder and Board Member at Alation, a pioneering data intelligence platform that defined the data catalog product category. He also founded Mesh Dynamics as CEO and later served as SVP of Product and Engineering at Numbers Station AI.

Venky holds a BTech in Computer Science from IIT Madras and a PhD in Computer Science from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. He worked as a Senior Researcher at Microsoft on data quality and knowledge graphs, and at Google on Dynamic Search Ads.

As CTO and co-founder of Alation, Venky led technology development and helped create the new data catalog product category. He has been a data enthusiast since graduate school, working at various levels of the data analysis stack.
