Venu Vissamsetty is Co-Founder and Chief Architect at JetStream Security, an AI governance platform helping enterprises safely adopt AI at scale. He is a security architecture expert with deep roots in identity threat detection and enterprise defense.
Venu spent over a decade leading advanced threat defense and intrusion prevention engineering at McAfee before co-founding Attivo Networks. He pioneered identity threat detection and deception technologies at Attivo for eight years alongside his brother Srikant.
Following Attivo's $616M acquisition by SentinelOne in 2022, Venu continued as VP of Engineering until 2024. He specializes in designing resilient, identity-centric systems for enterprise security.
JetStream raised $34M in seed funding led by Redpoint Ventures, with backing from CrowdStrike CEO George Kurtz, Wiz CEO Assaf Rappaport, and Okta Vice Chairman Frederic Kerrest. The company is already working with Fortune 500 organizations.
