Veronique De Vroey is Co-Founder of SpectaCell, a Belgian life sciences company developing a next-generation label-free single-cell analysis platform to accelerate immunotherapy drug development and manufacturing.

Veronique built her career in leadership roles combining science and operations across the life sciences sector, with an executive education background from INSEAD.

Her expertise bridges biotechnology, data analysis and business development, bringing a rare combination of scientific rigor and operational execution to deep-tech ventures.

Prior to SpectaCell, Veronique and her co-founders gained experience at leading organisations including Galapagos, Johnson & Johnson, Biocartis, CellCarta and VIB, spanning drug development, diagnostics and biotech innovation.

SpectaCell launched in October 2026 with a €6 million seed round led by imec.xpand, targeting pharmaceutical and biotech companies worldwide with a platform that delivers single-cell insights in hours rather than days.
