Vicente Carbon

Vicente Carbon is Co-Founder and CEO of Rhonexum, an EPFL spin-out pioneering cryogenic integrated circuits to enable scalable quantum computing systems.
Born in Spain and raised in Portugal, Vicente moved to Switzerland to earn his master's degree in robotics, developing deep expertise in embedded systems and systems engineering.
Vicente combines a strong foundation in robotics and systems engineering with a clear mission to translate cutting-edge academic research into industrial-grade deep-tech solutions.
He co-founded Rhonexum alongside Dr. Hung-Chi Han, participated in the Venture Leaders Mobile program by Venturelab, and progressed through the Creative Destruction Lab Next Gen Computing program.
Rhonexum raised $1M in pre-seed funding led by QDNL Participations, secured grants from EPFL Startup Launchpad, FIT, and SNSF, and is on track to deliver its first industrial-grade cryogenic electronics product to early customers.
