Vikrant Singh

Vikrant Singh is Co-Founder, Director, and CTO of BatX Energies, India's leading lithium-ion battery recycling startup headquartered in Gurugram, India, pioneering sustainable critical mineral recovery for the electric vehicle industry.
Vikrant earned a Bachelor of Technology in Mechanical Engineering from BML Munjal University, where he conducted advanced battery research at the Center of Advanced Materials, and later served as Head of Battery Recycling and Design Research at Lohum Cleantech.
Vikrant holds a patent in LFP Cathode Active Material (CAM) regeneration, a breakthrough technology that took six years to develop and represents a major milestone in India's battery circularity mission.
Prior to BatX, Vikrant co-founded Batene India Pvt Ltd, providing structural engineering consultancy, and also contributed as a Battery Research Scholar at BML Munjal University focused on lithium-ion battery systems.
BatX Energies has raised over $18.6M across 5 funding rounds, operates a battery shredding and hydrometallurgy capacity of 5,000 metric tonnes per year each, and runs a network of micro facilities with a combined capacity exceeding 20,000 metric tonnes annually.
