Vincent Paffrath

Vincent Paffrath is the Founder and Managing Director of CONUS, the AI knowledge layer for surgery that connects medical device manufacturers with hospitals to make verified device knowledge instantly accessible.
Vincent earned his B.Sc. in Business Administration from Leuphana University Luneburg, his M.Sc. in Entrepreneurship from WHU Otto Beisheim School of Management, and is currently a PhD Candidate and Research Associate at the University of St. Gallen.
Vincent was awarded the NRW Startup Scholarship by the State of North Rhine-Westphalia, recognizing him as an innovative founder with 12,000 EUR in funding and one year of expert coaching.
After meeting Y Combinator General Partner Tom Blomfield at an ETH Zurich event, Vincent and his co-founders were invited to Silicon Valley and accepted into YC's Fall 2026 batch, validating CONUS's potential for global scale.
CONUS already partners with industry giants including Johnson and Johnson, Stryker, and Zimmer Biomet, with a long-term vision to become the Amazon for implants embedded directly in the surgical workflow.
