Vishal Sikka

Vishal Sikka is Founder and CEO of Hang Ten Systems, an AI-native enterprise services company he launched in June 2026 to help large organizations build, modify, and operate software through AI-driven development and automation.
Sikka earned his Ph.D. from Stanford University in 1996 and spent 12 years at SAP as its first-ever CTO before serving as CEO and Managing Director of Infosys from 2014 to 2017, becoming the company's first non-founder professional chief executive.
A longtime AI advocate, Sikka championed an early $3 million Infosys donation to OpenAI in 2015 and was listed as one of its founding advisors, reflecting his conviction that AI would fundamentally reshape enterprise software.
After Infosys, Sikka founded Vianai Systems in 2019, raising $50 million in seed funding and a subsequent $140 million round led by SoftBank Vision Fund 2, before launching Hang Ten Systems with a $32 million seed round led by Mayfield with strategic backing from Aramco Ventures.
Hang Ten Systems already counts Siemens Gamesa Renewable Energy and Fresenius among its early customers, and its board features Yahoo co-founder Jerry Yang, signaling strong enterprise and investor confidence in its AI-first model.
