Vishnu R. Tejus

Vishnu R. Tejus is Founder and CTO at 10x Science (YC W26), a biotech startup enabling biopharmaceutical development to keep pace with AI-powered drug discovery. He specializes in artificial intelligence, machine learning, natural language processing, and reasoning.
Vishnu was CTO of Carnegie Mellon's RoboTutor team, which became a finalist in the $15M Global Learning XPRIZE competition and was awarded $1M. He also served as a Founding Software Engineer at Nooks, where he helped build over $2M in new pipeline and co-founded the GTM team.

10x Science opened and operates an animal lab in South San Francisco, achieved proof-of-concept in mice, built a multimodal AI model, and submitted two provisional patents within 1.5 months while using less than 50% of YC funding. The RoboTutor app was used by hundreds of students in Tanzania and was the only student-professor team to reach XPRIZE finals.
